KEC Maximum Joe was the jumping sensation on the International Circuit in 2007. He started the Big Tour Circuit by winning the Lummen Grand Prix with Willem Greve, who cemented a wonderful partnership with him, he was placed 6th at the Gelderland International Grand Prix. Later in the summer he returned to Lummen as a member of the Dutch Team for the Nations Cup where the team were placed 3rd. He was picked for Hickstead for his 1st Samsung Nations Cup, where he gave an exhibition of power & technique over a testing track, with a very good 4 & 0. He came home to Ireland for the famous Aga Khan & was seen by many as the rising star on the World Stage, he had 0 & 4 over the huge testing track. He was short listed for the Hong Kong Olympics in 2008 but injury kept him off the Dutch Team. He joined the Irish Team in Rome but has now returned to Holland to compete with Willem Greve again
His sire Lasangos is of the famous Landgraf Line, he competed in Germany winning the Bundschampionship (equivalent of the Boomerang) before being sold to Princess Haya of Jordan who competed him to International Level. His dam is the preferent mare Penny Lane by the legendary Pilot, going back to Weinberg on the Grand Dam's side.
