| This is a cracking 2 year old filly by the legendary french stallion Diamant de Semilly! Her mother is by Burggraaf and goes back to the famous Alme!
This filly has fantastic knee and hock action and should become a top class showjumper!
Sire; Diamant de Semilly carries much of the most important jumping blood in French breeding. His father Le Tot, has been a legend in France, consistently in the top ten sires in all age classes at Fontainbleau. Via Elf III, we find the blood of Ibrahim, who has a hand in the genetics of nearly all the great French sires.
He was 2002 Team World Champion and 9th in individual, Champion of France 2002, team silver medal at the 2003 European Championships.
His great potential was revealed in 1999 when he was France's 1st Category Champion at the jumping criterium. Regularly ranked in international classes since (1st 1999 Saint-Lô GP CSIB, winner of the Stallion World Championship in 1999 Caen CSIA, preselected for the Sydney Olympic Games 2000, 4th in Lummen and Modena Nations Cups 2001, 8th Munchen and Saint-Lô GP CSIA, etc.), he arrived at the top level in 2002 : World Champion with the French team (9th in the individual ranking) and France Champion after a great showjumping season (11 clear rounds over 12 in Nations Cups within Rome, Aachen, Donaueschingen). He confirmed his abilities in 2003 by winning team silver medal at the European Championships in Donaueschigen.
In 2004, after a good start (winner of Auvers GP CSI), he had been short listed for Athens Olympic Games, but because of a tendonitis he had to stop competing for a while. He ended successfully the 2005 showjumpig season winning the two GP CSI*** of Saint-Lô and Caen.
In 2006 he won the Belgian Grand Prix in Liége.
The dam is by Burggraaf.Burggraaf is a product of the successful Holsteiner formula Landgraf I x Cor de la Bryère. Top breeding stallion Landgraf I produced over 50 approved stallions and over 70 state premium mares just in Germany and heads the German yearbook with the total winnings of his progeny of over 6 million D-Marks. The dam¹s sire is the famous sports horse producer Cor de la Bryère. He holds second place in the German yearbook with total winnings of around 2 million D-Marks. From 'Corde' descend also over 50 approved stallions and state premium mares.
To mention a few names of his famous offspring in international showjumping: Calando, Caletto, Chanel, Contrast and Corlandus.. Burggraaf's dam Loanda is out of a unique Holsteiner breeding line (stamm: 7126) who produced Accord I, Accord II, Acobat I to IV, Arico, Fra Diavolo, Chicago, Freeman, Cordon Bleu and Burggraaf. Burggraaf was very successful in the heavier classes of the National Stallion Competition, of which he won the finals and six of the seven rounds.
Later he was an international showjumper with Roelof Bril; they cleared the 2.10 m. during the puissance of Indoor Brabant in 1991 and in 1993 they were reserve champion of the 1.40 class for KWPN stallions. Approved Burggraaf sons are: Graaf Grande, Burgunder, Habsburg, Bachelor, Fellini, Kroongraaf, Lemmod, Manhattan, Mermus, Murano etc. International showjumpers by Burggraaf are: Burggravin, Procops Dumbo, Sublieft, Hevalietje, Jumper.,Graaf Obelisk and Power Point. Burggraaf also produces offspring with a lot of movement. Examples are the Grand Prix dressage horses Florijn, Louisville and Kingston (Voltaire x Burggraaf). Burggraaf has to his credit many (reserve) champions at national mare shows, VSN-finals,IAN-trophy, world championships and stallion competitions.
